NATCHEZ — Services for Harvey James Robinson, 57, of Ferriday, who died Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2011, at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Stanley Searcy officiating.

Burial will follow at Ferriday Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Robinson was born Nov. 3, 1954, in Foules, La., the son of Lillie Jordan and Juanita Robinson.

Mr. Robinson was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Thomas Robinson; and one sister, Amanda Jolla.

Survivors include his wife, Janie Thomas Robinson of Natchez; two sons, Timothy Robinson and wife, Tyshemia, of Upper Marlboro, Md. and Darrington Robinson and wife, Charlotte, of Monroe; two daughters, LaDonna Johnson and husband, Kevin, of Gonzales, La. and Danielle Hardman and husband, Lionel, of Monroe; five brothers, Robert James Robinson of Ferriday, Brian Robinson of Bowie, Md., Charles Jordan of Chicago, LeVandia Jordan of Waterproof and Willie Jordan of Wiggins; one sister, Dorethea Robinson of Natchez; two step children, LaQueta Thomas and Whitney Thomas, both of Natchez; 11 grandchildren, two step grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
