NATCHEZ — Services for Theodore Green, 83, who died Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2011, in Oakland, Calif., will be at 1 p.m. today at Mount Sinai Baptist Church with the Rev. James Brooks officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the directions of R.D. Mackel and Sons.

Visitation will be from noon until service time today at the church.

Mr. Green was born in Adams County, the son of William Green and Sarah Hargraves Green

He was a retired concrete finisher.

Survivors include his wife, Carrie Green of Greenwood; two sons, Theodore Green Jr. and Harold Green, both of Oakland, Calif.; companion, Alma Sanders of Oakland; one brother, James Green and wife, Alberta, of Natchez; three sisters, Mary Butler and husband, Wash, Willie B. Woods, all of Natchez and Bertha Lee Davis of New Orleans; brother-in-law, Davis Wicks and wife, Barbara, of Greenwood; and a number of other relatives and friends.
