NATCHEZ — Services for Thomas Eugene McCoy, Jr., 78, of Natchez, who died Friday, Dec. 9, 2011, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at noon Tuesday, at Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Paul Southerland from Highland Baptist Church.

Burial will follow in Midway Cemetery in Meadville under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. McCoy was born June 19, 1933, in Bude.

He was a Korean War veteran of the U.S. Navy and a retired painter at Johns Manville.

Mr. McCoy was preceded in death by his sister, Margaret Seale of Meadville; a grandson, Josh Watts of Natchez, and two ex-wives, Carolyn McCoy of Natchez, and Pat Baldwin Thames of Ruth.

Survivors include his son, Thomas E. McCoy III, of Natchez; two daughters, Beth Box of Ethel, La., and Sharon Watts of Natchez; two grandsons, Logan Box and Thomas E. McCoy IV; four granddaughters, Mandy Watts, Krista Box, Mandalynn McCoy and Carolyn McCoy; sister, Mary Pearl Tuttle of Brookhaven, and a special friend, Neta Faye Champlin.
