NATCHEZ — A woman charged in connection with a Tuesday robbery at The Mark Apartments has also been charged for reportedly burglarizing a house in August.
Alexandra L. Shell, 1626 Camellia St., Vidalia, was arrested, along with two accomplices, Tuesday after allegedly attempting to use a stolen credit card. Shell reportedly obtained the card after one of her accomplices snatched the purse of a woman in the parking lot of Mark Apartments.
Natchez Police Department Interim Chief Danny White said further investigation led to the burglary charge. Shell reportedly stole a 52-inch television and Playstation from a house on Cherokee Street.
White said Shell is also being held for the Vidalia Police Department for a possible theft charge.
Shell’s address was incorrectly listed by a booking officer as 125 Lower Woodville Road on Shell’s arrest record, White said. Shell’s current record reflects her correct address on Camellia Street.
Shell’s bond is set at $50,000 for the robbery charge, and no bond has been set for the burglary charge.
