FERRIDAY — Daniel Clyde Savoy, 51, son of Gilbert Savoy Jr. and Barbara C. Savoy, died Friday, Dec. 16, 2011, as a result of a motor vehicle accident.

He was preceded in death by his father; his paternal grandparents, Capt. Jimmy Savoy and Mamie Savoy; his maternal grandparents, Adrian Brown and Minnie Marie Brown; and one niece, Rebecca Walker.

Survivors include his mother of Nesbit; five sisters, Dawn S. Franz and husband, Dennis, of Natchez and Julia S. Forman and husband, Larry, of Fayette, Patricia S. Caston and husband, Larry, of Gray, Tenn., Molly S. Miller and husband, Adam, of Haddock, Ga., and Melissa S. Bittner and husband, Bobby, of Hernando; one brother, James S. Savoy and wife, Becky, of Alexandria, La.; and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
