LORMAN – Services for Louise Dillon Cupit, 89, of Lorman, who died Sunday, Dec. 25, 2011, at Meadville Convalescent Home, will be at 2 p.m. today at Ephesus Primitive Baptist Church in Lorman with Elder Herbert Cupit officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time today at the church.

Mrs. Cupit was born Oct. 6, 1922, in Jefferson County, the daughter of Joe C. Dillon and Vernnie Smith Dillon. She was a retired bookkeeper for Jefferson County public school system.

Mrs. Cupit was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Robert Marshall Cupit.

Survivors include one daughter, Joy Cupit Morris and husband, Jake, of Natchez; one son, Herbert Cupit and wife, Jan, of Lebanon, Mo.; six grandchildren, Robert Morris and wife, Jennifer, and Justin Morris and wife, Alesha, all of West Monroe, La., Charman Brown and husband, Russell, of Downsville, La., Lora Knight and husband, Scott and Karen Starnes and husband, Kyle, all of Lebanon, and Mark Cupit and wife, Miranda, of Clever, Mo.; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Robert Morris, Justin Morris, Russell Brown, Mark Cupit, Scott Knight and Kyle Starnes.
