NATCHEZ — Services for Josephine Davenport Fry, 73, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2012, at her residence, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Christian Hope Baptist Church with the Rev. John Scott Jr. officiating.

Burial will follow at the family cemetery in Cannonsburg under the direction of Webb Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Fry was born June 14, 1938, in Adams County, the daughter of Andrew Davenport and Ollie Mae Davenport.

Mrs. Fry confessed Christ at an early age and was a member of Christian Hope Baptist Church under the leadership of the Rev. John Scott Jr.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Willie Fry Jr.; one sister, Lucille Jackson; two brothers-in-law, Wilbert Stewart and Issac Chambliss; and two nephews, Charles West and Terry Stewart.

Survivors include her children, eight sons, Timothy Fry and wife, Ella, Neal Fry and wife, Keisha, Jeffrey Fry and wife, Gloria, all of Lima, Ohio, Donald Fry, Calvin Fry and wife, Toni, all of Los Angeles, Eric Fry and wife, Karen, Andy Fry and Keith Fry and wife, Treva, all of Natchez; three daughters, Janice Myles and husband, Charles, Margie Fry and husband, George, and Wuanda Fry, all of Natchez; three sisters, Rosie Lee Stewart, Ollie Mae Chambliss and Josephine Blackwell; 20 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a number of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
