Tommy and Teresa Rouse of Natchez announce the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Ann Rouse, to Seth Carson Nelson, son of Constance Nelson and the late David Nelson of Forkland, Ala.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Adams County Christian School in Natchez and a graduate of Mississippi State University in Starkville. She is employed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Vicksburg.
She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Rouse Sr., and Mrs. Dorothy Henry and the late Tim Henry, all of Natchez.
The groom-to-be is a graduate of Demopolis High School in Demopolis, Ala., and also a graduate of Mississippi State University in Starkville. He is employed by the U.S.D.A. Wildlife Services in Rolling Fork.
He is the grandson of Mrs. Marie Campbell and the late Mr. Earl Campbell and the late Mr. and Mrs. Luther E. Nelson, all of of Haleyville, Ala.
The wedding will be at 5 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 18, 2012, at Rosalie in Natchez.
A reception will follow on the grounds of Rosalie.
