NATCHEZ — Services for DeWayne Scott Jr., 35, of Flomaton, Ala., and Natchez, who died Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2012, in Pensacola, Fla., will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bo Swilley and the Rev. Mike Stancile officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today and from 1 p.m. until service time Sunday, both at the funeral home.

Mr. Scott was born June 24, 1976, in Natchez, the son of DeWayne Scott Sr. and Beverly McMillon Scott. He was Baptist.

Mr. Scott was preceded in death by his mother; maternal grandfather, Emmett Doyle McMillon Sr.; and paternal grandparents, Clyde Scott, Jewel Scott Clark and Langston Leroy Clark.

Survivors include his wife, Farina Lynne Scott; one son, DeWayne Glenn Scott; one daughter, Beverly Dianne Scott; his father; one brother, Emmett Clyde Scott; one sister, Amanda Thibodeaux, all of Natchez; grandmother, Sybil McMillon of Crestview, Fla.; and a number of aunts and uncles.

Pallbearers will be Michael Essary, Barry Scott, Stacy McLamb, Bruce Jackson, Jason Tyson, Robert “Bubba” Scott, Chad Campbell and Eric Jones.

Honorary pallbearers will be Emmett Clyde Scott, Emmett Doyle McMillon and Archie Nichols.
