FERRIDAY — Services for Priscilla “Mua” McCraney, 87, of Vidalia, who died Sunday, Jan. 22, 2012, at Camelot Leisure Living, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Mercy Seat Baptist Church in Ferriday.

Burial will follow at Ferriday City Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mrs. McCraney was born March 17, 1924, in Lake St. John, the daughter of Steve Haynes and Pinkey Ashford.

She was preceded in death by her parents; ex-husband, Anthony McCraney; three daughters, Ruby Washington, Mary Collins and Elizabeth Johnson; four sons, Roosevelt, Clarence, John Ray and Anthony McCraney Jr.; one granddaughter, Eshedl McCraney; one sister, Thelma Beverly; and one brother, Jeremiah Wickliffe.

Survivors include four daughters, Rosie Banks and Shirley McCraney, both of Spring, Texas, Barbara A. McCraney and husband, Jerry, of Humble, Texas and Delores McCraney of Paramount, Calif.; two sisters, Fredlena Knoten and Elnora O’Neal , both of Musk, Mich.; two brothers, Charles Haynes of Vidalia and Steve Haynes of Cleveland, Ohio; 24 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; three special cousins, Willie Lee, Annie Lee Henderson and Paula Griggs Thelma; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
