MONTEREY — Services for Shelia Eames Farrar, 46, of Monterey, who died Sunday, Feb. 5, 2012, in Ferriday, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Lismore Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry Wagoner and the Rev. Byron Gray officiating.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the church.
Sheila was born Nov. 12, 1965, in Ferriday, the daughter of Raymond and Leveda Eames. She was co-owner of Head-2-Toe Beauty Salon and an active member of Lismore Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.
Survivors include her husband, David Farrar; one son, Tanner Whittington; one stepson, Justice Farrar; her parents; father and mother-in-law, Horace and Janet Farrar; and two brothers, Russell Eames and his family and Forrest Glen Eames and his family.
Pallbearers will be Chad Pugh, Jimmy Poole, Kevin Poole, Michael Cowan, Ryan Thompson and Shelton Seals.
