FERRIDAY — Services for Doris Elizabeth Wiley Harrell, 90, of Ferriday, who died Monday, Feb. 6, 2012, at Highland Home Rehabilitation in Mississippi, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church of Ferriday with the Rev. Wayne Gray officiating.

Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Providence Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Harrell was born Aug. 25, 1921, in Prattville, Ala., the daughter of George Maurice Wiley and Georgia Pearl Wiley. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Ferriday and served as a Sunday school teacher, Vacation Bible School worker, choir member and was involved in the home-bound ministry, in which, she visited the elderly and shut-ins for more than 30 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Harrell; her parents; three sisters, Mrytis Amelia Eppinette, Maurice Anna Jacks and Etta Gore; and one brother, Joe Chavers.

Survivors include two daughters, Regina Kathryn Coker of Ridgeland and Robyn Elizabeth Fitzgibbon of Mountain View, Ark.; two sons, Richard Leo Harrell and wife, Rosalba, of Portland, Texas and Ronald Ventis Harrell and wife, Marie, of Adams County; eight grandsons; six granddaughters; seven great-grandsons; and eight great-granddaughters.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Gabriel Coker, Joshua Coker, Justin Coker, Gresham McMillon, Walker McMillon, Alexander Harrell, Adam Wheeler and great-grandson, Will Johnson.

Honorary pallbearers will be deacons of First Baptist Church of Ferriday.
