NATCHEZ — Memorial services for Dr. William Thomas “Tommy” O’Brien III, 60, of Natchez, who died Friday, Feb. 3, 2012, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, will be at noon Friday at St. Mary Basilica with the Rev. David O’Connor officiating.
Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until service time Friday at the church.
Arrangements are under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Dr. O’Brien was born Aug. 31, 1951, in Natchez, the son of Dr. William Thomas O’Brien Jr. and Alice Lafaye O’Brien.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Louviere O’Brien; one son, Brennan Thomas O’Brien, D.M.D., and wife, Caroline Herron O’Brien, of Natchez; one daughter, Bridget O’Brien Henson, D.M.D., and husband, James Lee Henson, of Pensacola, Fla.; his mother of Natchez; three sisters, Lynne C. Henry of Calabash, N.C., Barbara J. Brock and husband, Chip, of Naperville, Ill., and Kathleen A. Letaw of Stone Mountain, Ga.; two brothers, David R. O’Brien and wife, Pam, of Germantown, Tenn., and James S. O’Brien of Natchez; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to St. Mary Family Life Center, Catholic Charities or to a charity of choice.
