NATCHEZ — Otis W. Wood, 72, of Concord, Calif., died Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2012, in California.

Funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date.

Mr. Wood was born March 27, 1939, in Jefferson County, the son of Floyd Wood and Etta Fitzgerald Wood.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Floyd Wood Jr., Percy Wood and Charlie Wood; and one adopted sister, Amy Wood.

Survivors include two daughters, Beatrice Fleming and husband, Shawn, and Ciley Wood, all of California; two sisters, Florida Coates of New Orleans and Lillian W. Noble and husband, the Rev. Richard Noble, of Natchez; one adopted sister, Deloris Wood of California; two brothers, Willie Wood of California and Thomas Wood and wife, Carol; adopted brother, George Wood, all of Monroe, La.; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
