ACCS head coach Melanie Hall said she was pleased with her team’s intensity during the game.

“I thought each one of my players did a really good job,” Hall said. “I felt like we came out with a lot of intensity. Once I got the matchups right, they did a good job.

“We started out in some bad matchups, and we switched some things and did really well.”

ACCS led 34-24 at the half and 41-26 at the end of the third. Megan Duran led Oak Forest with 20 points.

“At times, we executed beautifully on offense,” Hall said. “We had some open looks. Defensively, they did a super job. I believe that’s going to carry through to the next game.”
