FAYETTE — Services for Susie Mae Cameron, 64, of Fayette, who died Thursday, Feb. 23, 2012, at University Medical Center in Jackson, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Mariah Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Stanford Cruel officiating.
Burial will follow at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mrs. Cameron was born Aug. 12, 1947, in Fayette, the daughter of Simon Sr. and Rosie Lee Stampley Tenner. She served on the usher board at Salem Baptist Church.
Mrs. Cameron was preceded in death by her father; her husband, A.C. Cameron; one sister, Ruth Cruel; and two brothers, Leroy Tenner and Simon Tenner.
Survivors include one daughter, Tracey L. Grayson and her companion, John Martin; one son, Eric Delaney Grayson and wife, Nicole; her mother; a special friend, Eli Snyder; six grandchildren; four sisters, Etta Jones and husband, John, of Tupelo, Dorothy Chambliss and husband, Robert, Patricia Banks and Cassondra Tenner, all of Fayette; one brother, Clemmie Tenner and wife, Ruby, of Fayette; two close friends who were there for her through it all, Freda Armstrong and Virginia Albert; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
