MONTEREY — Thursday afternoon’s junior varsity and varsity baseball games between the Monterey Wolves and the Pitkin Tigers have been canceled.

Monterey head coach Eric Richard said the games will not be made up this season. The Wolves play host to Block High School next Monday with the JV game at 4 p.m. and the varsity game at 6 p.m.

ST. JOSEPH, La. — Thursday afternoon’s varsity baseball game between the Tensas Academy Chiefs and the Prairie View Academy Spartans at Prairie View Academy in Bastrop, La. was canceled.

Tensas Academy head coach Curt Leake said the two teams will play a varsity doubleheader at Prairie View next Thursday with the first game beginning at 2 p.m. Next up for the Chiefs is a home game against Riverfield Academy next Monday at 3 p.m.
