NATCHEZ — Services for Tennessee Latham Linston, 62, of Natchez, who died Monday, March 12, 2012, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Pleasant Green Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Johnson officiating.
Burial will follow at Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 1 to 6:30 p.m. today at the funeral home with Eastern Star rites beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Mrs. Linston was born July 27, 1949, in Natchez, the daughter of Robert Bradley and Elizabeth Latham. She was a former certified nursing assistant at Natchez Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Linston was a member of Pleasant Green Baptist Church and a member of the Laura Bonds Chapter No. 16 Order of Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her father; one daughter, Shelia Latham; and sister and brother-in-law, Rosie Lee and Percy Williams.
Survivors include two sons, Emanuel Carl Latham and wife, Lamese, and Melvin Latham; her mother, all of Natchez; six grandchildren, Seddarrest Latham, Emanuel Carl Latham Jr., Lyric Larry, Daivan Strauder, Ebony Cobb and Essence Cobb; seven brothers, Emerson Latham and wife, Jennifer, of Jackson, Alexander Latham, Johnny Latham, John Latham and wife, Lanery, Paul Latham and wife, Catherine, and Ronnie Latham, all of Natchez; two sisters, Mary Williams and husband, Willie, of Natchez and Alice Minor and husband, Maurice, of Baton Rouge; one goddaughter, Tiara Conner of Gretna, La.; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
