Mr. and Mrs. John Felix Anders Jr. of Ferriday announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Cooper Anders to Jonathan Donald Willard, son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Ray Willard of Sterlington, La.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Huntington High School in Ferriday and Louisiana State University School of Nursing in New Orleans with a bachelor of science in nursing. She is employed by Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge as an emergency room nurse.

She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Felix Anders and the late Mr. and Mrs. Russell Young Ratcliff.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Sterlington High School and a graduate of Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, La., with a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering. He is employed as a field engineer with Baker Hughes Inteq.

He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Wilburn Willard of Monroe, La., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Raleigh Henry Hollinger.

The wedding will be at 7 p.m., Saturday, May 5, 2012, at St. Mary Basilica in Natchez.

A reception will follow at the Vidalia Conference and Convention Center.
