NATCHEZ — The National Weather Service in Jackson has reduced the previous severe thunderstorm warning to a severe thunderstorm watch for Adams County and Concordia Parish until 8 p.m.

By 2 p.m., high winds had blown apart the Taco Bell sign on U.S. 61 South and downed tree limbs on Lower Woodville Road.

The watch includes Catahoula, Franklin, Richland, Madison, Tensas, East Carroll, West Carroll and Morehouse parishes. It also includes Copiah, Madison, Yazoo, Hinds, Rankin, Humphreys, Simpson, Jefferson Davis, Lawrence, Lincoln and Marion counties.
