NATCHEZ — Cathedral High School head football coach Ron Rushing will be leaving the Green Wave program to take a coaching position at Brookhaven High School.

Cathedral athletic director Craig Beesley confirmed late Monday afternoon that Rushing accepted an offer to become offensive coordinator at Brookhaven, a Class 5A school in the MHSAA. Rushing has served as Green Wave head coach the past two seasons, leading Cathedral to a berth in the Class 1A South State title game in 2011.
