HOUSTON, Texas — Graveside services for Edith Adams, 92, of Pearland, Texas, formerly of Natchez, who died Tuesday, April 3, 2012, will be today at Woodlawn Cemetery in Houston, Texas with Dr. Bob Joiner officiating.
Burial will follow under the direction of Crowder Funeral Home in Pearland.
Mrs. Adams was born March 11, 1920, in Natchez, the daughter of Harry and Alma Wilson. She had lived in the Houston area for 46 years and was a member of Lovely Lane Methodist Church in Natchez.
Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by her husband, R.J. Adams; two sisters, Lois Land and Louise Ruppert; and one brother, Harry Wilson.
Survivors include one daughter, Sheila Ray and husband, Gale; and two grandchildren, Adam Ray and wife, Margaux, and Zachary Ray.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made in Edith’s name to Lovely Lane United Methodist Church, 65 Morgantown Road, Natchez, MS 39120.
