Springfield Baptist to share Easter program

When you think of Easter, do you see white little bunnies running around in a field of clovers or maybe little girls dressed in their beautiful dresses hunting colorful eggs trying to win the prized egg.
Well, when I think of Easter, I think of how Jesus died on the cross at Calvary. How he suffered for all our sins because of how much he loved us.
It’s amazing to know that although he died on that Cross, he is not dead.
He has risen. And so we at Springfield Baptist Church in Natchez, have put together a weekend full of fun activities starting Saturday with an Easter Egg hunt beginning at 10 a.m. for all children with our annual barbecue following at noon.
On Easter Sunday, at 11 a.m., our choir will perform “Champion of Love” music cantata with a live portrayal of Jesus’ death and resurrection.
It’s a wonderful and faith built program that guarantees the love of Jesus.
Our choir director and along with the people of the church, have put together this wonderful and dramatic program for all to see.
If you would like to have somewhere to go to worship this Sunday, we encourage you to come to Springfield Baptist Church and worship with us.
We would be honored to have you.
