Mr. Trimble was born July 22, 1924, in Natchez. He attended Natchez High School and, after serving in World War II, graduated from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge where he was a member of the DKE fraternity. He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. During the war, he flew 35 missions over Germany as a technical sergeant, radio operator and machine gunner. After returning home from the war, he married his beloved wife of 65 years, Joess Davis Trimble.

Mr. Trimble was in the automobile business for many years before entering the monument business. He was a trusted and hard working employee of Natchez Monument for 27 years until his retirement in September, 2008.

Mr. Trimble served his community well and was admired by all who knew him for his strong work ethic. He was a faithful member of the First Presbyterian Church where he enjoyed participating for many years in a prayer breakfast. Mr. Trimble was loved by many friends and relatives. First and foremost, he was a devoted husband and father who put his family before himself. He will also be remembered for his love of the big band music of the 1940s and his collection of music from that era.

Mr. Trimble was preceded in death by his wife, Sidney Joess Davis Trimble; his son, Adrian Randolph Trimble Jr.; his mother, Margaret Feltus Trimble Fauntleroy; his father, Francis Elliott Trimble; his step-father, Frank Fauntleroy; and his brothers, Francis Elliott Trimble Jr. and Morrell Feltus Trimble.

The family wishes to express their profound gratitude to their father’s caregivers, Becky Allen and Sue Mann for their unfalling devotion and support.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Natchez City Cemetery, where Mr. Trimble spent many hours working, First Presbyterian Church of Natchez, Natchez Children’s Home, Natchez Humane Society or Deaconness Hospice.
