MONTEREY — Services for Sara Finley Morgan, 17, of Monterey, who died Thursday, April 26, 2012, at LaSalle General Hospital in Jena, will be at 10 a.m. Sunday at Sandy Lake Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Joel Ford and the Rev. Billy Wallace officiating.

Burial will follow at Oakley Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Jonesville.

Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Sara was born Sept. 16, 1994, in Alexandria, La., the daughter of John Michael Morgan and Julie Ewing. She was a senior at Monterey High School.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Gail Francis and one uncle, Mark Morgan.

Survivors include her father; her mother and stepfather, Deron Ewing; one brother, Madison Morgan; one sister, Kentley Roach and her mother, Stephanie Morgan; paternal grandparents, Sewell and Delores Morgan; maternal grandfather, Marty Francis; one aunt, Monti Francis; one uncle, Tal Morgan and wife, Laurie; one great-aunt, Peg Routon; and eight cousins, Laykan Bass, Bronson and Caroline Morgan, Carla and Layne McGuffee, Kevin Routon, Carson and Chloe McGuffee.

Pallbearers will be Hart Tiffee, Hayden Willson, Jesse McCaughey, Landen White, Tyler Trant and William Brown.

Honorary pallbearers will be Andrew Hart, Cody Trisler and Jordan Hudnall.
