NATCHEZ — Services for Larry Rogers, 50, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, April 24, 2012, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at New Zion Baptist Church No. 1 with the Rev. Ernest Ford Jr. officiating.

Burial will follow at Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Rogers was born Nov. 10, 1961, in Natchez, the son of Edith Rogers and Ernest Myles. He worked as a cashier/sales clerk at a number of Natchez businesses.

He was a 1979 graduate of North Natchez High School. He also attended Jackson State University.

Mr. Rogers was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edgar and Marie Rogers.

Survivors include his mother of Natchez; his father of Fayette; two sisters, Sharon Rogers Woods and Angela Rogers, both of Natchez; one brother, Steven Rogers, of New Orleans; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be friends of the family.
