NATCHEZ — Services for Kimberly Dawn Britt, 45, of Natchez, who died Monday, April 30, 2012, at her residence, will be at 11 a.m. today at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Herschel Bounds officiating.

Burial will follow at Siloam Baptist Church Cemetery, Highway 98 in Meadville.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time today at the funeral home.

Miss Britt was born Dec. 14, 1966, in Natchez, the daughter of Roger D. Britt and Diane Strong Britt. She was a member of Carmel Baptist Church and an avid Louisiana State University and New Orleans Saints fan.

Miss Britt was a retired maintenance supervisor at International Paper Company in Richland.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Elmer Britt; her maternal grandmother, Earlene Strong; and one uncle, Joe Swaggart.

Survivors include her parents; one sister, Kellie Smith and husband, Tony; maternal grandfather, Warren Strong; paternal grandmother, Margie Britt; one niece, Kayla Smith; three nephews, Cole, Luke and Kyle Smith; a number of aunts, uncles, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins; and long time best friend, Karen Brady.

Pallbearers will be Mark Verucchi, Germaine McClenty, Michael Jackson, Brad Williams, Carl Underwood and John Berch.

Honorary pallbearers will be Kim’s maintenance crew and all of her I.P. family, Dawn Brewer, Virgil Brady, Skeeter Wilson and Tony Strong.

The family thanks Hospice Compassus, Tonya Skates, R.N., Pat Sims, CAN and Jason Dauphin.
