JACKSON, La. — Services for Dorothy Lynn Whittington Partridge, 70, of Denham Springs, La., formerly of Natchez, who died Monday, April 30, 2012, at her residence, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Lighthouse Pentecostal Church in Jackson, La., with the Rev. Blake Barber, the Rev. Joey Hoyt and the Rev. Norwood E. Hoyt officiating.

Burial will be at 3 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday, both at the church.

Mrs. Partridge was preceded in death by her loving husband, Pat Partridge; one daughter, Billie Jean Atkins; one son, Joseph Partridge; her parents, William Lonnie and Dollie Whittington; two sisters, Colleen LeMay and Betty Jo Kramer; one brother, Edward Whittington; and one great-grandson, Anthony Braiden Atkins.

Survivors include eight children, Steve Atkins and wife, Brenda, and Nevitte Wade Atkins and wife, Susan, all of Denham Springs, Joseph Atkins of Clinton, La., Lonnie Atkins and wife, Sandra, of Bogalusa, La., Billy Lee Atkins and wife, Tanya, of Ferriday, Willie “Bill” Partridge II and wife, Ruby, of Bude, Lynn Reeves and husband, Charles, of Natchez and Velma Sullivan and husband, Chip, of Brookhaven; 16 grandchildren, Cheyenne Atkins, Morgan Atkins, Victoria Atkins, Abbie Atkins, Gabbie Atkins, Rebecca Atkins, Hailey Atkins, Lysa Richardson, Landon Partridge, Caleb Atkins, Douglas Atkins, Ben Atkins, Patrick Partridge, Willie “Lil Bill” Partridge, Keith Partridge and Todd Partridge and wife, Debbie; three great-grandchildren; four sisters, Barbara Ann Maye, Faye Causey, Becky Nevels and Mary Agnes McGuffie; and two brothers, J.W. Whittington and Royce Whittington.

Pallbearers will be Ben Atkins, Douglas Atkins, Caleb Atkins, Jimmy Ballard, Patrick Partridge and Willie “Lil Bill” Partridge III.

Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Jackson Jr., James Ray Jackson and Donald Roger Jackson.
