Ben Hillyer / The Natchez Democrat — Ann Mullins was all smiles and giving out hugs to the emergency responders who helped free her from car after it had run off the road into the ditch on Melrose-Montebello Parkway Wednesday afternoon. The car landed sideways in the ditch trapping Mullins inside until responders from the Natchez Fire Department, Natchez Police Department and American Medical Response came to help. Mullins was the only person in the car and left the scene smiling with no major injuries.
