Weather update: Warning lifted, watch remains

NATCHEZ — The Miss-Lou is no longer under a severe thunderstorm warning, but remains under a hazardous weather outlook for the remainder of the week.
The National Weather Service reports that strong thunderstorms are possible Tuesday through Sunday.
Today’s storm downed tree limbs and power lines, sending local law enforcement to clear roadways on Marin Avenue and Col. John Pitchford Parkway.
Some areas in Adams County lost power during an afternoon thunderstorm.
Between 50 and 250 customers lost power in the Old Washington Road area and a similar number of customers lost power near Lower Woodville Road. Between 50 and 250 customers temporarily lost power in the Morgantown area near Myrtle Drive, which has since been restored.
A number of other outages were scattered across the county at 4:45 p.m., following the storm.
