FERRIDAY — Services for Jimmie Dale Seals, 55, of Ferriday, who died Sunday, May 6, 2012, at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Young’s Funeral Home with the Rev. Mark Richardson officiating.

Burial will follow at Rogers Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Seals was born March 18, 1957, in Laurel, the son of Bolden Clifford Seals and Odie Mae Seals. He was employed as floor hand in the oil field.

Mr. Seals was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Calvin Seals, Jeff Seals and Tommy Joe Seals; and one sister, Betty Wall.

Survivors include two sisters, Cathy Micheau and Linda Seward and her husband, Pat, all of Ferriday; three brothers, Erby Seals and wife, Dianne, of Monterey, J.C. Seals of Opelousas, La., and Lavelle Seals and wife, Mamie, of Gloster; and a number of nieces and nephews, who he dearly loved.

Pallbearers will be Byron Pool Jr., C.W. Wall, Chris Seals, Justin Rojas, Michael Seals, Nelson Wall, Rene Wall and Shelton Seals.

Honorary pallbearers will be Darrell Evans, Dewitt Hill, Mike Barnes and Robert Rojas.
