CROSBY — Services for Catherine Davis Murray, 94, of Crosby, who died Tuesday, May 1, 2012, at her residence, were 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 8, 2012, at Crosby Union Baptist Church.

Burial followed at Woodlawn Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Mrs. Murray was born May 9, 1917, in Jefferson County, the daughter of Pearl and Annie Davis.

Mrs. Murray was a member of Crosby Union Baptist Church and served on the Mother Board.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Arthur Murray; and one son, Arthur Murray II.

Survivors include 10 loving and devoted children, Marion Murray and wife, Gracie, Maria Williams, Christopher Murray and wife, Linda, and Gregory Murray and wife, Marcia, all of Jackson, Elvin Murray of Victoville, Calif., Bertha Harmon, Delores Murray, Bobbie Hall and husband, Glen, Mary White and husband, Woodrow, and Robert Murray and wife, Minnie, all of Crosby; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
