VIDALIA — Memorial services for Billy Gene Beall, 77, of Vidalia, who died Saturday, May 12, 2012, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dusty Carson officiating.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home.

Mr. Beall was born April 20, 1935, in Hazlehurst, the son of Ernest Everett Beall and Winnie Bell Purvis Beall. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Vidalia.

Mr. Beall retired from International Paper Company after 44 years of service. He was a member of the Good Sam’s Travel Club. He loved traveling, car shows and collecting antiques. He was also an avid gardener.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Kathleen Beall; and two brothers, Ray Beall and James Beall.

Survivors include one son, Carl Dennis Beall and wife, Nancy, of Denham Springs, La.; one daughter, Barbara Ann Nerren of Walker, La.; three sisters, Pearl Beall, Gladys Rollins, both of Natchez, and Pauline Rollins of Liberty; and two brothers, Edward Beall of Houma, La., and Bobby Beall of Texas.
