FAYETTE — Services for Karen Cecile Byrd, 57, of Roxie, who died Tuesday, May 29, 2012, at Promise Hospital in Vidalia, will be at 1 p.m. today at Springhill Baptist Church with the Rev. Luther Bonds officiating.

Burial will follow at Zion Cemetery under the direction of Rollins Funeral Home in Fayette.

Mrs. Byrd was born Dec. 14, 1954, in Adams County, the daughter of Kenny Charles Webster and Isabelle Hardin Webster. She worked as a physical therapist assistant.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Lela T. Hardin; her father and mother-in-law, Sylvester Byrd Jr. and Curley Mae Byrd; and one brother-in-law, Wallace Lewis Robinson Byrd.

Survivors include her husband, Kenneth C. Byrd Sr.; her parents; three daughters, Keena Byrd of Vicksburg, Leanne Brown of Roxie and Erica White of Cincinnati, Ohio; three brothers, Kenny C. Webster Jr. and wife, Helena, Michael H. Webster and David A. Webster and wife, Leonia, all of Roxie; one sister, Elizabeth M. Dixon and husband, Marshall Sr., of Brandon; five grandchildren; and a number of other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be friends and family.

Honorary pallbearers will be friends and family.
