NATCHEZ — Memorial services for Randy Latrell Foster Jr., 10, of Natchez, who died Friday, June 1, 2012, in Alexandria, La., will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Hollywood Baptist Church in Fayette.
Burial will follow at Greenleaf Baptist Church in Harriston under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from noon until service time at the church.
Randy was born Dec. 3, 2001, in Natchez, the son of Sharina Washington Jones and Randy Foster Sr.
Randy loved horses.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Ninie Powers Jackson; great-grandfather, Henry W. Jackson Sr.; two great-aunts, Damatia Powers White and Dorothy Washington Jackson; and two great-uncles, Aaron Burgman Sr. and James Washington Sr.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Christopher Jones Sr.; his father; grandmother, Gladys Powers Washington; grandfather, Samuel Washington Sr.; one sister, Kyla Washington; one brother, Christopher Jones Jr., all of Natchez; six aunts, Ashley Dixon and husband, Marshall, of Biloxi, Hattie Anderson and husband, Lamar, of Oklahoma City, Okla., Jenny Obumseli of Georgia, Cynthia Calip, Jacqueline Reed and husband, Casey, and Mickie Scott and husband, Ricky, all of Texas; four uncles, Sa’Mel Washington of Natchez, Samuel Washington Jr. and wife, Jasmine, Tredell Washington and wife, Lorraine, and Cedric Washington and wife, Felica, all of Texas; extended family, mentor and father-figure, Cecil DeVaull Jr.; grandmother, Felecia Gaylor; two aunts, Destiny DeVaull and Aquondra DeVaull; godparents, Dwain and Roslyn Perkins; one godbrother, Dwain Perkins Jr., all of Natchez, one godsister, Dwayna Perkins of Duluth, Ga.; eight great-aunts, Shelia Young and husband, Anthony, of Vicksburg, DeJojnetten Eakins and husband, Gregory, of Harriston, Myrtis Harris of Clarksdale, Lela Washington, Delilah Favre and husband, Roy, all of California, Marcella Washington of Natchez, Marcharie Chambliss and Mae Eva Chambliss, both of Fayette; eight uncles, Willie B.
