NATCHEZ — Services for Louis “Sweet Lou” Williams Jr., 51, of Natchez, who died Sunday, June 10, 2012, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at noon Saturday at Beulah Baptist Church with the Rev. Carl Smith officiating.
Burial will follow at Sunset View Memorial Park under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mr. Williams was born Aug. 23, 1960, in Natchez, the son of Louis Sr. and Ethel M. Davis Williams.
He was preceded in death by his father; paternal grandparents, Henry Williams Sr. and Cindy Clark; maternal grandparents, Roosevelt Davis and Ethel Hunt Davis.
Survivors include his mother, Ethel M. Williams; companion, Beatrice Taylor of Vidalia; one son, Cornelius Woods and wife, Nattiya, of Schweinfort, Germany; one daughter, Menesha Woods of Dallas; four sisters, Linda Winston of Spring, Texas, Jackie Long of Brookhaven, Rose Mary Long Adams of Natchez and Virginia Long Minor of Atlanta; six brothers, Tony Williams Sr., Samuel Williams and wife, Shelia, all of Jackson, Roger Williams and wife, Sandra, of Clinton, Donell Williams and wife, Shaunta, Rocky Long, all of Natchez, and Tony Long and wife, Florence, of Atlanta; six grandchildren, Jaylyn, Angarya, Ledra, Janesha, Lanesha and Robin; two great-grandchildren, Jakira and Anaya; four aunts, Gladys England of Ferriday, Alberta Williams and husband, Herman, Lecena Campbell, all of Natchez, and Helen Peppers of Chicago; two uncles, Ernie Lee Davis of Natchez and Roosevelt Davis and wife, Pam, of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
