NATCHEZ — Services for John A. Butler, 54, of Natchez, who died Friday, June 22, 2012, will be at noon Saturday at Mount Sinai Baptist Church in Sibley with the Rev. James Brooks officiating.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Butler was born July 29, 1957, in Natchez, the son of Wash and Mary Butler. He attended Natchez-Adams County public schools.
Mr. Butler was employed by Waste Management as a mechanic. He attended Mount Sinai Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding his four-wheeler.
Survivors include his parents of Sibley; one brother, Theodore Butler and wife, Arynita, of Sibley; three sisters, Jessie Mae Butler of Sibley, Sarah Butler Brown of Junction City, Kan., and Mattie B. Stewart and husband, John, of Pasadena, Calif.; and a number of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Earl Martin, Robert Brown, Ray Brown, Arthur Brown, Donald Barnes and Charles Barnes.
