VICKSBURG — Mabel D. Sims of Chicago, died Friday, July 6, 2012, at her residence.

Memorial services were held Wednesday, July 11, 2012, at Our Lady of Sorrows Basilica in Chicago.

Burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Jessamine Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home in Vicksburg.

Mrs. Sims was born in Lorman, the daughter of Jeff and Mary Brown.
