CLAYTON, La. — Services for James Ray Knight, 22, of Louisiana, who died Monday, July 16, 2012, in Vidalia, will be at 2 p.m. today at Clayton Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Melton Rushing officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time today at the church.
Mr. Knight was born Sept. 5, 1989, in Natchez.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Estelle Louise Knight; paternal grandfather, Edward Jimmy Knight; and maternal grandmother, Stella Mae Cormier.
Survivors include one son, Sully Izac Knight and his mother, Misty Vigil, of Vidalia; his mother, Susan Stephens and husband, Charles, of Denham Springs, La.; father, Edward “Buddy” Knight of Ferriday; seven sisters, Honey Trosclair and husband, Johnny, Estelle Kelly and Kevin, Samantha Thibodeaux and Clint, Misty O’Quin and Joey, Penny Gorham and Sidney, Lucy Knight and John Paul, and Angela Brixey and J.J.; one brother, Raymond Knight and Kristy; maternal grandfather, Raymond Lester Cormier.
Pallbearers will be Allen Hall, Roy Bishop, Shayne Piper, Brandon Dees, Woods Lindsey and Toby Shows.
Honorary pallbearers will be Marshall Faust, Leroy “Bebo” Dutton, Stephen Wells and Willie Montgomery.
