JONESVILLE — Services for Kalub LaWayne Holley, 18, of Aimwell, La., who died Monday, Aug. 13, 2012, at Louisiana State University Medical Center in Shreveport, La., will be at 2 p.m. today at Sandy Lake Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Joel Ford officiating.
Burial will follow at Heard Cemetery in Manifest, La., under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Jonesville.
Kalub was born Sept. 20, 1993, in Murfreesboro, Tenn., the son of Ronnie Holley and Lawanna Holley. He was employed as a satellite installer.
Kalub enjoyed watching football, playing his guitar and working on his truck. If he wasn’t driving his truck, he was working on it. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family.
Kalub was preceded in death by his paternal great-grandparents, Eugene and Elizabeth Holley and Buddy and Lucille Elliott; maternal great-grandparents, Marvin and Pearl Gardner; maternal great-grandfathers, Charles Stevens and Elbern Brown; and one aunt, Dee Dykes.
Survivors include his mother; his father, both of Catahoula Parish; his fiancée, Miranda Watkins of Wisner, La.; paternal grandparents, Larry and Sara Holley of Aimwell; maternal grandparents, Leo and Susie Brown of Jonesville; one brother, Clay Holley of Sicily Island; one nephew, Brently Cade Holley; and a number of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Holley, Dakota Childress, King Self, Larry Holley, Ryan Childress and Waylon Hide.
Honorary pallbearer will be Micha Bennefield.
