NATCHEZ — Services for Gloria Jean Norton, 67, of Roxie, who died Friday, Aug. 10, 2012, at her residence, were at noon Saturday at Salem Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Maurice Irving officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

A memorial presentation was from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mrs. Norton was born July 2, 1945, in Jefferson County, the daughter of Rosie Lee Porter. Her adopted parents were Johnnie and Rosa Felton.

Mrs. Norton was a member of the Eastern Star.

She was preceded in death by her adoptive parents; her husband, Arthur Lee Norton; three sisters, Lethane Swanson, Pauline Daniels and Lee Alma Knight; and two brothers, Elbert and Louis Felton.

Survivors include two daughters, Mary Norton and Joyce Norton; two sons, Arthur Lee Norton Jr. and Jeffery Norton; one stepson, David Graves; three sisters, Canary Grantham, Doris Jones and Romell Harris; two brothers, James Porter and Darryell Porter; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
