NATCHEZ — Services for Doris Ann Davis, 47, of Natchez, who died Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. J.L. Hammitte officiating.

Burial will follow at Skinner’s Cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Ms. Davis was born Aug. 23, 1965, in Natchez, the daughter of Tommie “Big Man” Davis Sr. and Serena Beatrice Davis. She was a nutritionist/dietitian with Spring Branch ISD.

Ms. Davis was Baptist.

She was preceded in death by her father; grandmothers, Princella Jenkins and Georgia Davis; and one brother-in-law, Curtis Brown.

Survivors include her mother; six sons, Terrell Davis, Leroy Evans, Demetrius Evans, De’Andre Brown, Leroy Brown III and Michael Evans; one daughter, Shaterra Evans; two grandchildren, Brianna Evans and McKenzie Evans; four brothers, Cary Davis, Gary Davis, Tommie Davis and wife, Mildred, and Tony Davis; seven sisters, Darlinda Paige and husband, Rickey, Cheryl Goodin and husband, Roosevelt, Sandra Goodin, Wynette Davis, Shirley Smith and husband, David, Wanda Satterfield and husband, Ken, and Tracy Gilder; mother-in-law, Bessie Brown; father-in-law, Leroy Jones; two brothers-in-law, Chris Brown and Tory Brown; seven sisters-in-law, Gloria Brown, Sandra Brown, Natalie Brown, Zina Brown, Barbara Brown, Lisa English and Doris Kenner; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
