JONESVILLE – Services for Eddie L. Williams, 81, of Ferriday, who died Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012, at his residence, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary Baptist Church in Jonesville with the Rev. Dave Mayes officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mr. Williams was born March 13, 1931, in Ferriday, the son of Willie and Rebecca Walker Williams.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Patricia Williams.

Survivors include his companion and devoted friend of 26 years, Addie Phillips; four daughters, Wanda Faye, Marilyn, Gwen and JoAnn; one son, Eddie L. Williams Jr.; three sisters, Margie, Rebecca and Alice; one devoted brother, Louis Williams; two sisters-in-law; and a number nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
