NATCHEZ — Hunting enthusiasts looking to clear some freezer space before this year’s season can do so while also helping the community.

Hunters for the Hungry will be collecting food today from 1 to 4 p.m. at Bowie Outfitters and Sports Center.

Hunters are encouraged to donate frozen game, fish or any other items for the food drive.

The donated items will be distributed to needy residents within the community.
