NATCHEZ — The Adams County Sheriff’s Office has captured the man officials asked the public to keep an eye out for Tuesday.

Residents were asked Tuesday to watch for Andrew Morgan, who was allegedly driving a 2002 Ford Explorer reported stolen Monday.

Sheriff Chuck Mayfield said Morgan was captured in the Roosevelt Drive area Wednesday afternoon after a brief car chase and a 10-minute foot chase.

The sheriff said in addition to burglary, larceny and sex offender non-compliance charges he faces in Adams County, Morgan may be charged with thefts in Jefferson County.
