TALLULAH, La. — Wilkinson County Christian Academy took advantage of several miscues and some attempted trick plays by Tallulah Academy in the Rams’ blowout win 55-6 over the Trojans Friday night to remain undefeated in MAIS District 3-A.

Quincy Thompson blocked a punt, and Lane Ivy returned it 26 yards for a touchdown early in the first quarter. After Rodney Boyd Jr. intercepted a pass at the Trojans’ 49-yard line, the Rams took over and scored on the first play from scrimmage on Taylor Prevost’s 49-yard touchdown pass to Dra Tolliver.

After WCCA went up 55-0 early in the fourth quarter, Tallulah Academy finally got on the scoreboard on an 83-yard run by Tyler Brown.

WCCA (7-1, 5-0) travels to Liberty to take on Amite School Center at 7 p.m. next Friday.
