State agencies seize stolen equipment

PORT GIBSON — Stolen property and equipment valued at $200,000 was seized Friday from residences, farms and hunting camps in Claiborne County.
The Mississippi Agricultural and Livestock Theft Bureau, a division of the Mississippi Department of Agriculture and Commerce worked with the Claiborne County Sheriff’s Office and the Mississippi Department of Wildlife and Fisheries to make the seizures.
Vehicles, tractors, farm implements, ATVs, construction equipment at more were found on Curtis Lester Road. Some items had been stolen in 2001.
One arrest was made at the time, and more are expected.
