NATCHEZ — Services for John W. Cleveland, 87, of Ridgecrest, who died Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at his residence, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Russell Wagoner officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.

Mr. Cleveland was born Oct. 8, 1925, in Decatur, the son of Ruben Earl Cleveland and Littie Bell Jenkins Cleveland. He was retired from International Paper Company after 37 years of service.

Mr. Cleveland was a member of Harmony No. 1 Masonic Lodge and the Loyal Order of the Moose in Natchez.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Clara B. Cleveland; two sons, John Allen Cleveland and Keith Glynn Cleveland; one brother, A.Q. Cleveland; and one sister, Mable Byrd.

Survivors include one daughter, Deborah Cleveland of Biloxi; three grandchildren, Lindsey Cleveland of Saucier, Amanda Schorghofer of Long Beach and Jon Cleveland of Florence, Ala.; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Thelma Wilson of Biloxi; one sister-in-law, Mandie Cleveland of Newton; and special friend, Glenda Dobbels.

Pallbearers will be Ralph Barnes, Joel Wilson, Gary Mitchell, Gary Knight, Scott Stafford and Jon Cleveland.
