NATCHEZ — Services for Charles Anthony Johnson Jr., 66, who died in a fishing accident in Chicago, were April 6, 2013.

Johnson was born Aug. 8, 1947, the son of the late Charles and Bertha Johnson.

Johnson was preceeded in death by his parents; two brothers, Maurice and Robert “Binky” Johnson; one sister, Alberta Loyd; two nieces, Cynthia Loyd Ware and Margaret “Peggy” Williams; his first wife, Shirley Carter Johnson; and his second wife, Martha Gatlin Johnson.

Survivors include his wife, Michelle Johnson; 11 children — five girls and six sons; three brothers, Archie Johnson and wife, Sandra, Frederick Johnson and wife, Florence, and Ronnie Johnson, all of Georgia; two sisters, Frances “Francine” Bonnee and Necole B. Johnson of Natchez; and a number of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
