FERRIDAY — Services for Laura K. Polk, 62, of Vidalia, who died Wednesday, April 24, 2013, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 11 a.m. today at Comer Funeral Home in Ferriday with the Rev. Eddie Maher officiating.

Burial will follow at the Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Comer Funeral Home .

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Polk was born April 9, 1951, the daughter of Harvey Pete and Anna Laura Scott Twiner. She was a homemaker and loved by her family and friends. She will surely be missed.

Mrs. Polk was preceded in death by her mother and one brother, Harvey Twiner.

Survivors include her husband, Bobby L. Polk; two daughters, Cynthia Lynn LeMaster of Natchez and Chastity Michelle Hammers of Summerall; one stepdaughter, Robin Polk; one son, Justin Hughes and wife, Angel, of Laurel; one stepson, Jack Polk; seven grandchildren, Justin Hughes Jr., Austin Hammers, Brodie LeMasters, Cheyenne Hughes, Savannah Hammers, Kayleigh Hammers and Bianca Polk; and one brother, Sydney Duncan Twiner.

Pallbearers will be Charles Reeves, Mark Morace, Tommy Polk, Richard Temple, Justin Lee Hughes Jr. and Tyler Morace.

Honorary pallbearers will be Austin Hammers and Ritchie Trujillo.
